Italian Wedding Soup

We have had a lot of questions about Italian Wedding Soup.  My grandma used to make this every Christmas Eve and it was always a hit!  Here is a recipe we found on All Recipes that seems to be as close to hers as I can recall.  Remember, you can find the ground beef and escarole right here on our site (along with eggs and carrots!)!



  1. In medium bowl, combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, cheese, basil and onion powder; shape into 3/4 inch balls.
  2. In large saucepan, heat broth to boiling; stir in escarole, orzo pasta, chopped carrot and meatballs. Return to boil, then reduce heat to medium. Cook at slow boil for 10 minutes, or until pasta is al dente. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
